I have a customer that uses an old 6" well to fill up tankers. He has a 100gpm pump in the well with 2" line feeding the tankers. The problem is the pump is too much for the well recovery rate. He runs out of water, then about 20 min. later he can resume pumping.
He is looking for a low water cut-off switch with an adjustable timer so he doesnt have to manually turn the water back on.
Does anyone know of such a critter?

Thanks for your help,
Matt

It would be better for the pump if you would just use a ball valve and choke that pump back to 80 GPM, 50 GPM, or what ever the well will produce. However, you can use a Cycle Sensor to detect low amps when the well is dry, then you can set the timer to restart the pump from 1 to 300 minutes. See this link;
