I just ordered a Drake (CST744S in Cotton White) and the order lists two model numbers (for the bowl and tank). The tank is ST743S and the bowl is C744E. I thought I had previously seen the Drake bowl with a different letter at the end instead of the "E". I just want to verify that my order is correct for a standard Drake toilet.

Thanks!

What you ordered is the Drake toilet and tank. This is standard height (not ADA) with an elongated bowl. No seat is included.

Good, that is what I wanted to order. I thought the part number for the bowl ended in an "S", not an "E", so I just wanted to check that it wasn't some other variation of the Drake.

Thanks.

Your correct the bowl does/did come with a S at the end of it.
C744S S stands for "G-max" flush 1.6gpf
C744E E stands for "E-max" flush 1.28gpf
ST743S is the tank that has the G-max flush in it, either bowl will work.

The most important is the tank if you want the G-Max flushing technology.

Toto is switching the bowls over to E
The E works with either tank.

I haven't seen an S bowl for a while in the Drake line.

Hmm, so I'm a bit confused by those two posts if I read correctly. Peanut says the E designation is for E-Max flush (1.28 gpf) and the S designation is for the G-Max flush (1.6 gpf). Terry appears to say the E is a new designation for the same old Drake bowl and either tank can be used.

Is it the tank that determines the gpf and the bowl design hasn't changed? Or is the bowl also different between the two versions? I did not want to get the 1.28 gpf model.
