Tub drain and stack side by side... how to connect

I am renovating a 2 pc ensuite and plan to add a tub. The plan has the tub drain & overflow entering the crawl space 1" from the main soil stack & vent. I was going to connect the tub to a sanitary T connection in the stack just below the floor. However, with the tub drain so close to the stack, I have no room for a P-trap let alone minimum pipe distance from the stack. Even if I vent the tub separately, ultimately the tub drain has to connect to the stack, and I can't envision how to do this without a bunch of 90's and a loop away from the stack and then back. Advice?

From your desription it appears that the only way to do it IS to go past the tub and then come back to it. Although it should not require a plethora of elbows to do it.
