How do you drop your sandpoint deeper?

I have a problem with water pressure for my sandpoint well. In the spring and early summer pressure is great. But come July when the water table drops my pressure goes way down almost so low that the heads on my undergrown sprinkler won't come up.

My question is do I have to drive a new sand point or can I just drive the one I have a little deeper?
