My well is about 50 ft deep and 35 yrs old. In April, I had the jet pump replaced by a submersible pump. My well man also installed a small spin down filter after the pressure tank.

I use a 5 micron Aqua-Pure AP815-2 filter for removing sediment. They used to last about 5 months before being clogged. Now they last a month. I regularly clean out the spin down filter and there is sediment floating in the bowl.

Should I use a larger pore filter, get a washable filter if possible, or complain the well man?

Thanks,

Carmine
