I had a leak between the tee and the pipe. I decided to replace it, bougtht a new tee. Still leaking.

This is one solid pipe, not 2 ends spliced together. It has a hole in it and the tee is made from 2 halves (top and bottom). I simply fitted it onto the pipe and tightened the nuts.

This could be a very basic issue.

Am I supposed to seal with something between the pipe and the tee somehow?

It's leaking quite a bit, not just dripping.

thank you.
