Recently replaced all usual stuff inside typical American Standard toilet. It now flushes so hard and fast that water actually splashes out of the bowl. Did not do this prior to me replacing parts. I turned off the water at the supply valve and flushed to see if I still would get a "too strong" flush and I did. Toilet is on the 3rd floor of my house if that matters?

I dont mind a strong flush but the splash is annoying.

Thanks

Once the tank is filled, is the water level above the mark?

The water fills exactly to the correct water level mark in tank.

Thanks

There are 1.6 gallon replacement flappers that don't allow as much water to drop.
You may want to switch to one. Korky makes a generic one that fits many toilets.
