Delta shower valve opinions

I'm considering replacing my shower/tub valve with a Delta 1748 model.

Any opinions good or bad about this model ?

I consider the Delta 1700 series to be a very good choice!

Separate volume/temp controls are nice on this delta version.


One thing is for sure; you'll never have to replace the cartridge, just the seat cups and springs.


Delta hit their marks on this design.

This is great valve. I installed (2) in the last year in my home. Another feature of this faucet is that it has temperature memory. When you turn this valve on it will go to the last set temperature.
