Anchorage, Bob & Mark Morning Show

Jamie will be on the Bob & Mark Morning show Thursday and Friday this week, the 24th and 25th.
They will be performing several songs live on the radio.
6:00 to 10:00 AM Alaska Time, one hour later than Seattle time. Live webcasting audio of the show.

They will also be performing live at Blues Central at the Chef's Inn
825 W Northern Lights Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99503
Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Hosting them is Bob Lester of KWHL 106.5 FM in Anchorage Alaska.

Jamie has one more show tonight.
Friday night some of the guys and their wives came from Pacific Plumbing Supply in Anchorage and Wasilla.
They had a foot of snow that day, but it was a good show according to my Seattle sources that flew up for the shows.
It should be a good show tonight though.
Jamie is still taking all comers in the beer drinking contest.
You get a free CD just for trying.
Ok, it's not the beer that makes it good.
It's the band, the songs, and the singing.
So, if you are in Anchorage tonight, you know where you want to be.

Jamie will be in Anchorage again the first week of September playing at Blues Central, fishing and having fun.
Those of you in Anchorage will be able to hear him on the radio, and I will put the live link on the days that he is on the radio, and you will be able to listen on your computer speakers. It's a pretty funny radio show.

Friday night with Bob, Rise and the band Out From Underneath in Anchorage in a Blues club taken over by rock bands and an impromptu beer drinking contest hosted by Bob from KWHL.

Rise opened with a rocking set, plenty of people in the bar on a Friday, the food was good. What's not to like eating fish in Alaska, isn't this where they go out on those fishing boats in wild waves bringing back that fresh stuff.
We were invited out to go fishing, but it will be the next trip I think, we got to bed way too late those days.
Jamie won the beer drinking contest, was it a contest really?
Gulp!

The next two sets were by Jamie's band, and they played until 2:00 AM
That's how I like it.
Everybody in Alaska is very friendly, on Saturday we enjoyed some "road kill" moose. A little tomato in the sauce, it reminded me of the food and spicing in Belize.
The fish was to die for.
Yes, some people hunt here with their trucks.
Driving by the car dealer here, I saw new trucks with snow plows attached. It's not Winter there yet, but those trucks are awaiting those long Winter days.
The water along the sound was nice to drive by, I headed up to the ski area on Sunday for breakfast and to take a look. After wards I went to a home party where Jamie played again.
I had to leave for the airport that afternoon, so I missed the visit by the cops about the noise, I mean music. Party poopers.

Yes, they are talking politics in Alaska, I was there for the music though.
I won't be making my mind up until Tuesday in November.
