Which White-Rodgers or Honeywell thermostat should I use for a GMH95045BX? I would like the a touchscreen model.

I am unsure which model to buy.

My big question would be: Do I need a single or multiple stage thermostat?

Thanks in advance

I am headed out....no time to research right now, but I am thinking your furnace is variable speed blower, 2 stage burner???? Honeywell and White Rogers both have excellent websites and tech support. Also, your Goodman installer has access to excellent Goodman tech support, who can recommend a compatible t-stat.

Will try to post more info later if I have time.

I have used the Honeywell VisionPRO 8000, both at work and at home for over a year now. Nothing bad to report. Would highly recommend.

Well I guess I only need a single stage thermostat. The spec sheet says:

Dual$aver
This furnace is capable of the following heating modes:
Single Stage (Factory Setting)
Modifi ed Two-Stage
Fixed 5-Min Low Stage
Auto Time (1-12 Min) Low Stage
To change from the factory single-stage operation, adjust the
dipswitches on the ignition control as follows:

Note: This furnace is designed to be used with a single-stage room
thermostat.

Guess I will go with the White-Rodgers ---I like the blue :)
