Use your tire gauge on the tank air valve to verify the pressure. You probably let it freeze and the gauge is reading 50 pounds too high.

The pressure gauge is reading a 100+ psi (maximum range), it normally reads 50 psi. Everything seems to be running fine. Pressure is the same in the house as usual, pump is not running constantly, all seems normal except the gauge reading.
Should I be worried, will the tank explode?
Do you think it is the gauge?
Is it hard to change a gauge?
Is this something I could do myself being a novice plumber at best?
Appreciate the feedback..
