well pump not working

I have a well house outside of my home in which I have a heat lamp bulb on to keep the well from freezing. When I got up this morning I had no water so I assumed that it was frozen so I went out to check the bulb and it was still on. I changed the pressure switch thinking maybe that was it. The motor is at least now making a noise but still not pumping water. Is my motor bad or could it be something else?
