Ok, I have a new hot water tank, lot's of hot water for the tub and bathroom sinks, but in my stand alone shower, there is barely any hot water, even with the single delta handle all the way over to hot. Is there a way I can dismantle this handle, and what should i look for on the inside?

thanks, marc

In the process of turning the water on and off at the main to replace the WH, the valve probably saw air in the line, and uneven pressure. This jammed the spool valve to one side and is preventing hot from getting out. From what I hear, sometimes you can disassemble and lube to free it up, sometimes you need to replace the spool valve or if it's in the cartridge, that.
