Uneven Closet Bend Help

I am installing new toilet and flange to an existing 3" turned-up CI 90 closet bend in a concrete basement floor. The existing closet bend is set uneven (one edge of pipe opening is about 1/8" higher than the other), so that when the new flange is seated squartely on the bend, it is sloped almost 1/4" from actual level edge-to-edge.

Can this be corrected short of excavating & resetting existing bend & drain line? Specifically, can adjustments be made in the bend to flange connection to bring it level, eg. grind down high end to level? If not, can the uneveness be compensated for at the flange to closet connection, eg. extra thick wax ring?

A plumber could install a new flange with a lead/oakum joint and then "snap" the excess bend off flush with the top. You might not want to try it since you could break the bend.
