jetted bathtub access panel

I am renovating a bathroom and installing a jetted tub.My next step is to build a tub deck. I plan on tiling the tubdeck.I need to include an access panel to the tub pump.I have seen many pictures of beautifully tiled tub decks on the internet and I don't see access panels.Any suggestions on how to build a discrete access panel that doesnt stand out?

Schluter www.schluter.com makes some magnets and brackets designed to hold a tiled panel. You can use a color matched caulk instead of grout to fill in around it...cut it away if you ever need to perform maintenance. There are other techniques. Check on www.johnbridge.com they live tile there.
