Default Ruud power vent water heater

I run up on one today that's not working at all. It's a 50 gallon propane model. I tried to call ruud tech sevice but kept getting put on hold after about 30 minutes I gave up. I checked the power at the outlet and it's good. Anyboby have any advice on this model?

Talking dont mess with the propane ones

    the propane ones are trouble...

liability is too high for my taste to fool with them

it really depends on how old it is........

if you cant get new parts....stay away

It's a 1999 model and i will have to order the parts for it when i figure out what it needs.

Talking parts are difficult to obtain

the local supply houses around here only have
parts going back 7 years for the Rheem power vents

anything older than that and you are on your own...

a 1999 propane will be trouble that I personally would
    rather pass on.......
