Hi Terry and everyone,

We don't know where to turn and hope you can help. We have a small crack in our shower floor. We just purchased the stand-up shower (Spartan) 2 years ago. Unfortunately we were told from the place we purchased it that it is no longer made (so unable to buy a new floor base) and not under warranty. We're trying to find a way to repair it without replacing the whole shower (costly!) and tearing up the flooring that we put in after the shower.

The floor is plastic and on the floor are raised small circles throughout. The crack runs in an "x" on one of the circles.

Thanks so much for your help!

Is it plastic or fiberglass? Plastic can not be repaired properly, fiberglass can be repaired better than new. If it is fiberglass, ask at a plumbing supply house and they should be able to get you the name and number of a qualified repair person. It is not something you can do your self, but it will be cheaper than replacing it.

The base was possibly not properly supported when it was installed, unless something was dropped in it, if it is fiberglass the repair person will be able to address that as well.
