And I know more than what the layman assumes a civil engineer does. :)

The wind blew n the BS flew n I couldn't see for an hour or two...:D

From what I see you don't know doo-daa squat about plumbing and probably are a fairly poor civil engineer...
Probably the reason why roads flood and washout, rock slides and mud slides, dam failures and bridge collapses occurr...

The layman looks at the hillside and says I dunno looks pretty steep...
See how the dirt washed down the hill by that light rain last night...
I'd hate to see it in a heay rain with saturated soil...

The engineer says...
Oh it will be fine one the vegitation takes hold. Soil samples say it is very stable soil and test borings indicate great subsurface drainage... Blah blah blah...

Yep us laymen get to drive around the detour after the hill slides down across the road.
Damn engineers they screw everything up...

I'm still mad at Southern Man.
He helped me cobble up my front stoop an about a month later the damn thing collapsed.
Kilt 2 of my best dawgs when she let go.
I thunk twas a little shakey but he said twas alright.
How was I two know... He's a civil en-gin-ear...
