About a week ago there was a problem in the neighborhood that required the water to be shut off for about an hour. After it was turned back on, the water supply to our toilet upstairs just stopped working. I turned the valve and nothing happens. We've never had any problems with this toilet and the other bath/toilet on the same level has no issues. Any advise on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Turn off the supply at the wall...
Unhook from under the WC and then flush the line into a bucket by turning the valve back on...
If clear, the problem is crud in your fill valve...
Probably just easier to replace the valve with a full replacement for about $20from your local big box store...
Leave the supply off and remove the fill valve... Take it with you and buy a replacement by matching the valve assy to the ones in the store...
