Is there a minimum distance that needs to be maintained for wall sconces between the bulb and the adjacent wall? I'd like to put a sconce in the corner of a room, but don't want to use a corner sconce so I can match the other side. (It's for either side of a medicine cabinet). The medicine cabinet is going at the end of a room with a sloped ceiling, so there is no room to put lighting above it.

How about a sconce and the ceiling? Is there a minimum distance there?

Thanks

No minimum. If it's too close to an adjacent wall or ceiling, then it would be too close to the wall it's on.
