framing for plumbing

Id like to move a washer/dryer about 8 ft into an adjoing room., the wall to be used is framed out with 1x3s,3''faced out,should i rip this out and replace with 2x4s in preparation for the plumbing.the framing is attached to cinder block.

It might be less work and money to fur the wall out. You could get a 2in pipe in that wall but the amount of extra work adding cats, etc I would just redo it or fur it out.
