Hi,
I have a friend of mine that lives in a trailer. His pipes are gray and look like it is PEX but it's not. It's a bit flimbsier. Does anybody know what kind of pipe this is? It is crimped together at the joints and unions with the copper bands and what not. I am trying to help him find a better way to connect at a union of his. He doesn't want to use those band and crimping tool. Which I don't blame him.... his pipes have leaked where he has fixed them before. If you know what this pipe is and you know a better way to bring 2 pipe together with a coupling of some sort other than those bands please let me know. Thanks for your time!
