Hi: I am having trouble getting a handyman to call me back. I have a doublewide trailer in Bothell, WA and my tub is leaking under my house. I have been under the house a couple of times now to see if there is any way I could fix it myself and I know that there is no way that I can. I have no plumbing experience but I am willing to try but just need help. Can anyone help this damsel in distress?

tub drains can look like this.
Any place there is a fitting could leak.

Most of the time, plumbers replace the entire drain assembly.
The upper part, uses a rubber washer to seal at the tub.
The lower drain uses a rubber washer under the tub, and plumbers putty for the top part that threads in.

Any of the slip joint washers could need tightening too.

C'mon, Terry. That's your neck of the woods. Surely you can send Jamie out to diagnose the problem. LOL
