Hi, I'm thinking about adding a whole house water filter to main line. I would like to keep the filter accessible from the outside so I will not have to crawl under the house to change it. As you can see from the picture, it is very tight to put the filter in. Would it be possible to make an "L" and have the filter branch off to the side? Would it cause any issues by having a 90 degree joint off the main? Is there any concern about wear and tear on the joint coming straight off the high pressure main? I know it sounds naive, but I wanted to make sure that I wasn't introducing new problems.

Thanks,

jon
