2 Controllers - Rain Sensor?

Is the only solution to install 2 rain sensors or can you wire a rain sensor to feed 2 separate controllers?

Answer from Orbit:

You can hook one rain sensor to two timers by hooking the common from the both timers to the rain sensor and the other rain sensor wire to the common from the valves.

If the common wire from both controllers is not already shared, I would not recommend this.
