Hi,

Just picked up a bathroom sink. Has a drain hole that is 1.8 inches (about 1 7/8). Has overflow.

Most drains are 1.25". Any guidance on a good drain (need polished chrome) ?

Thanks,

Did you purchase a Vessel sink?
1-7/8" is usually a bath tub drain size, Vessel sinks are normally 1-3/4"/

European style lavy drains, like the ones Waterworks supplies with their lavy faucets are wider diameter then American style. They fit very snuggly in American made lavy drain holes. Did you try contacting the manufacturer of the bowl or their rep and ask for their recommendation on a compatible drain?

Drill my own drain overflow holes?

ok, so called Whtehaus. Asked about the drain, asked for overflow holes, they said "yep". Product came and looks great, but no overflow holes.

Can I (try to) drill these myself? Or, will I regret ever trying.

Thanks
