Does anyone have any suggestions for covering / dressing up the line set coming down the side of the house from an attic AC unit?
I have white siding and the black foam just pops right out at you....

How about a gutter pipe? You can get them in aluminum, prepainted. You could cut a slit in the back side and slip it over the pipe. Some of the people are quite creative, so wait to see what other ideas crop up.

How about rerouting or covering with plastic sheathing that you can match up to your exterior as close as possible.
Call up someone who does aluminum gutter and soffits. You should be able to go to their shop with dimensions and get a custom braked cover and back flange that will cover the pipes. You screw the flange to the house behind the tubes then snap the cover on. All of it will be prefinished white aluminum stock up to 12' long per section. Crisp clean and should be at minimal cost.

Look for "slimduct" at your local supply house. Example: http://www.ductlessdepot.net/accesso...-11-0-176.htmlOriginally Posted by wlam08
Is it really that noticeable from the street? If not, and the lines run from the unit to the house, leave well enough alone. Covering it up, allows for other problems to come along (ie critters nesting in the tube covering).
