I found gate valves to be the answer.... NO noise and good flow adjustment.![]()

I need to replace the PVC globe valves in my existing water source heat pump installation. When adjusting the water flow rate I get a water turbulence and squealing noise. I have two valves in the system, one needs a 1GPM and the other 3GPM flow rate @50psi. I have tried 'dole' valves without success.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.![]()

Use a globe valve. Gate valves, like ball valves are best not used for throttling applications, because they wear out.
I like plumbing. Plumbing's my favorite.
I was using globe valves..... Toooo noisy![]()
need low noise globe valves too. Wish I could find more info on them, in general, too.

Have you looked into manual balancing valves or differential bypass valves?
