Hi Guys,

I just installed my first Toto Drake and had no problems with the initial install. After completion of the install, I noticed the tank rocks slightly back. The front is secure against the china but rocks back slightly if someone presses on the tank. I have no leaks and the toilet works fine. The bolts are fairly snug and am worried about cracking the china if I tighten further. Should I take the tank off and try to re-seat the tank or would it be better to try and shim it? My kids tend to press against the tank with the seat lid or when flushing which makes me think it will leak in time. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

If you tighten carefully, a little at a time on each bolt symetrically, you can get it snug, especially after it has been sitting for awhile since the rubber has compressed. Don't go beyond where it is just solid, though. But, in reality, it should be okay as it is.
