Rebuild the Delta and leave it alone...you normally wouldn't need anywhere near that much area, although it certainly makes it easier for the plumber to do the work. Pretty much all valve bodies can be repaired with just the area of the eschutcheon. Now, if the valve body is shot, you need more.





Well, the title prtetty much says it all. Found out, after the Tile man replaced the 18 " tile around the THE EXISTING valve body of the Delta KNOB [drew a circle and cut it out] that the new Price Pfister shower lever requires another VALVE BODY[?] From what I am told the only thing that can be done is to take the tile out so we can get to the valve assembly to change it to the PP valve assembly? ARE THERE ANY IDEAS OTHER THAN THIS
