I finished up my soldering the valves in my shower. I checked for leaks by turning on/off the knurled brass stems for both flow and thermostat.
I just read the instructions for this Danze valve kit and cautions against adjusting the thermostat BEFORE the mixing valve assembly which is in the trim kit. Apparently its already calibrated. Is this a big deal, I understand the whole scalding warning etc.
If I want to get this back to factory specs, is there a way to reset this without using a thermometer in the water to match to the mixing knob?

thanks..
