after a shower, i hear loud popping noise coming from the shower pan.
This can go on for half an hour or so... but not frequent... maybe like 5-6 popping noises total during half an hour..

I'm thinking it's caused by contraction/expansion (after the shower). Is it common ??

thanks

It happens,
Some of it is plastic waste lines that expand and contract as they pass through the holes in the wood plates.

If they are tight, they can bind, and then let go suddenly as they move.

thanks for the response.

Do you think it can cause problem down the road ?

It's a new townhouse but i doubt that the warranty department will do anything about it since it's not a leak :(
