I just installed a new washing machine and everything works fine except when it drains out the water - the water backs out from the black drain hose and comes back into the house. The water is draining out of the hose into the drain pipe as it should be but the water seems to be running too fast for the pipe to handle the water flow. I didn't have this problem with the previous washing machine. Is there an easy way to fix this problem?

Newer washing machines are known to have stronger pumps than your old maching probably had. If your drain is not a 2", it may have been adequate for the old guy, but not now. If it is 2", then it just may need a good cleanout job.
