Orange water

You must be in Florida. Speedbump has orange removal valves and filters. When it rains hard there, the orange groves leach orange juice into the aquifer and contaminate wells.

The only other thing might be iron.

In California rainstorms we have Kiwi-water. It makes your toilet green but you dont have to use any de-odorizers in the bathroom. Dogs that drink there get extra vitamin C.

I hear they have cocoanut water on some pacific islands.

You need to run a garden hose off your tank and flush the well. You disturbed the well pulling and replacing the jet and foot valve. The more water you run the quicker it will clear up. Just monitor the water flow in case it over pumps the well.

If you run it in the house after using the hose outside, remove the strainers from the faucets. It gets a little splashie and gets water all over, but it will help clear the water up.
