I just installed a new peerless faucet in my bathroom (house built in 1956). When I turn on the faucet, the water comes out at a pretty slow pace. I used to have very good water pressure there, but not any more.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem could be? Would appreciate any advice.

Thanks!!

It could be as simple as crud caught in the aereator...unscrew it from the faucet and check to see if it is clear. Are you sure you have both shut-offs fully opened? Is there a kink in one of them? Sometimes, the washers in the shutoffs (if they have them) can break off a bit and disrupt the flow. If you can, disconnect the hoses and then try running them into a bucket to check the flow.
