sand point questions

Hi this is my first post. I recently aquired my dads old lake front house in Wisconsin. I lived there for a few years with him in the 80s. One morning I went to brush my teeth before school and there was no water coming from the faucet. I also heard the pump running non stop in the crawlspace under the house. Shortly after he left the house vacant for almost 20 years, now its up to me to fix the sand point well. Heres the question... I live in Az now and can only visit the house 3 weeks of the year, where should I start with the well setup? Thanks !!

Man, imagine the electric bill for that pump running for 20 years. Just kidding!

After that long, you may end up starting over with new everything. Fixing stuff that has been sitting that long may cost more that a new system.
