I am currios about the gap between the toilet and the tile flooring. I am having about 1/8 inch gap between front of the toilet if I keep the back end tight down flat. But If I keep the front end of the toilet full contact with the tile then I have will have the toilet till forward a little (not level) and it also have 1/8 inch gap between the toilet rear with tile. Here are some pics to my flooring and toilet from Kohler

Did you get the Kohler bowl I returned?
That's the same problem we had on a job with a customer supplied bowl.
The two tabs kept the toilet up in the center, if we had pinned the front of the bowl down, like we do, then the back would have needed a 1/2" shim.
Just return the bowl. It should set flat on a flat floor.

Is that flange too low (see pic # 3). It looks like it is below the tile
