Thread: Existing Drain. Use for a shower?

  1. #1

Question Existing Drain. Use for a shower?

I have a drain in my basment/laundry room. Can I assume it has a p-trap? I'd like to install shower head and faucet and just use it as a wet room for coming in to the house dirty. Any way to tell wether it has a p-trap? I'd assume just stick some water in it and see if it stays?

Thanks for any comments (other than that I'm an idiot of course - I already know that)
