I have a submersible pump stuck in a 145 foot well due to an apparant cave in of the side wall. Power puller will not budge the pipe. We fear breaking the pipe - plastic- near the top. Is there any device to drop in the inside of the pipe, lower it to pump level and pull there. If the pipe breaks there we could drop a new pump down to cave in level and possibly avoid drilling a new well. Is this just a "pipe dream?"

At what depth did the well collapse at? Is it a 6" well? Alot of times you can fit a pump down along side the existing line and come up with good results. Sometimes the well can produce more after it collapses.
