In April, 2001 my tenant had a Wolverine faucet installed. Since then, I have had to replace the cartridges three times (tomorrow will be the fourth), twice on the cold water side, twice on the hot water side.
The faucet has a "life-time" warantee. Wolverine won't help me since I'm an end-user, not a plumber. The plumbing company that installed the unit was sold to another firm (they claim they only purchased the name, not the liabilities!).
I think that the problem is due to buildup of minerals, etc. The old faucet with washers never had this kind of problem.
Any suggestions from the pros?
