Thank you HJ.
Ok, so I was successful in getting a copper 2"x1-1/2 reducer. Now when I put the 1-1/2 trap adapter to the reducer size, its the same size and it won't fit. Did I buy the wrong piece?
Thank you Terry and HJ! I'll post pics when I can.

the lead is soft so you'll know what you see when you hit it. I took a screw driver and basically peeled it out. Took a while though.
Can you post a picture?
Does yours look like this?
Ok got the copper convector. Man is that much lighter than the steel! Have the fittings and everything. Thanks all!
Thanks Tom. That brings new light on the research. We do have Blackman plumbing where they have everything as well. Dad picked up the steel cause he thought steel was better but its heavy as hell....

Turned on the supply again and the drip was still there. Perhaps the valve...
Checked it before. Turned the water back on from the shut off valves, then turned on the shower. Water came out for a minute or two, then I turned it off. No drips. Didn't turn on the shower yet...
I haven't monitored the drip for a long time. Only for a few minutes. It was a drip every 2 seconds for the minute. Then I went and turned off the shutoff valves cause I was leaving for work.
I just installed the Delta tub and shower kit for my bathroom. It was pretty simple except for the tub spout. Took me a while but figured it out.
Now here's the problem. When I...

This pipe is currently at 34". Is it possible to move this down to 21"?
Its ok. I tell the plumber I'm taking all the copper to the yard. He doesn't care. They cut out so much copper when they did my new boiler/hot water tank that I kept it all. They had a staff of like...

Need your advice. Pulled out the old kitchen cabinets and there it was. The DWV pipe is outside the sheetrock!! WTF? The height of the new cabinets are 34 inches and the pipe is 34...
Ok back at this again. Had some family issues and health issues so I'm back on track and almost done.
Have a few questions though. At first I placed the flange on top of the spigot and it was a...
Thanks for all the replies!
Just to let you know the plumbing was there already. I was not going to move it because that would be too much work.
Anyway, thanks again and tile on!
I have a question.
Is the insulation here ok? ( I did fill in the little void on the left hand side by the window..made sure of it!) This wall is against the outside wall and I just...

My dad and I installed a new 30 gal hot water tank, gas. Everything went well except for one thing.
