Shark bites work well with pex. If you only have a couple of joints, they are the way to go. I don't like the big plastic threaded fittings for Pex most home centers sell.

I've noticed the same thing with our front loader. After switching soaps it's still there. I dunno??

I would talk with a repuatble well driller in you're area, and see what they suggest. Differant parts of the country have differant ways that work.
