Found it!
Update. I used the PC-7 and I'm pretty sure that it's going to hold. I tried it out first on a simulated bond. I roughed both up good. After 48 hrs I could not get them apart with a sledge and...
I just wanted to updaet everyone. I sweated a return line through the bottom of the tank (ie-the flush valve hole). Water now heats up in seconds. Must have been an issue with going back thru the...
BINGO! Thanks Jim!
30/50+. I think it touches 60 actually.
Maybe the showerhead just sucks. Like I said, the bathroom on the other side of the wall is pretty powerful. I'll switch them out and see what happens.
...
Thanks, but this is the crap I want to avoid. I spent the better part of yesterday Googling without luck. I want someone who's had experience installing a quality shower bar to reply.
My shower is done but I'm not 100% satisfied with the water pressure. I have another bath on the same line and I get decent pressure on that one but only after I drilled through the plastic...
I'm just finishing my bathroom project and I dont want to drill holes in my porcelain only to put a crappy shower rod that will corrode in a few months. Any clues as to where I can purchase a real...
Thought of that. It would set the drain way too high. I'd end up with 3" of mud at the drain and almost 4" at the wall. That's as high as my curb.
I think I'll be ok with PC-7. I can access the...
Its a Kerdi drain fitting over a brass drain.the connection is about two inches below the slab.I've got an extra inch to work with around the outside of the pipe but once the kerdi drain is down I...
The 2" PVC would be slipping over the copper drain. It's quite a snug fit but obviously not waterproof. Can't use the rubber sleeve thingee as I don't have access. Would some kind of epoxy work?...
I actually have it running into the cold water line right now and it does not circulate well. My old water heater (replaced 6 months ago) did fine in the current configuration but not this one....
I want to remove the flush spigot on my new hot water heater to connect my recirculation pump return line. However, it's plastic and I'm afraid to really force it with a wrench. I've pushed a bit and...
I've got some pics here and an explanation of the problem. My Kerdi drain wont go over the brass(?) fitting and is leaded in. When I started chipping around it, I encountered weird fiberous concrete....
It's not loose at all - just that I can pry it up a bit.
I sanded the groove and flange and roughed it up. Cleaned and put waterproof epoxy. Sealed like a charm.
Thanks. Pulling up the pan is not an option at this point. What can I use to seal it? Note that there is a recessed ring around the drain. You can see it in the screwdriver pic.
I think I have a leak where the drain mates with the shower pan. I've tried putty and epoxy but they just slowed it down. I don't think I'm getting a good, flexible seal. I did not prep it at all...
I still have some od the floor tiles so that would not be a problem.
Do they have camera's that go down 1 1/2" pipe??
My tub drain is totally blocked about 10-15 feet thru the pipe. When we snaked it, we get resistance about as far and then if feel/sounds as if we are pushing through rock/dirt. Combine that with the...
Hey guys. When we bought our current house, we used to run the water for minutes before we'd get any hot water ( I have a long ranch and the bathrooms and HWH are on opposite ends of the house). I...
I also think it is not media from the current filter becasue I did a complete service to the Fleck head about 3 months ago and there was no sign of any catalyst at all...not even one grain.
I see what you are saying. My answer is I dont think so. Only the hose bib applies but I don;t think that's it.
More and more I think this is media from the old filters (I wish I worked in my...
Hello people. I recently had to bypass about 6 feet of 3/4" copper pipe that supplied water to my Filox iron filter. It was flat out blocked. Funny thing was when I went to fix it, turned out filter...
ok.. I sent pics of the valve (complete with leaking water and hole in the shower wall) to American Standard and as a 'courtesy' they are sending me a new valve even though I don't have my receipt...
