It's maybe 10 years old.
Yeah, I have a great sense of the obvious!
Actually I was hoping for someone to say it happens and that I could fix it with a little tweak instead of trashing it.
Oh well.
I have a Bernzomatic trigger valve (don't know the number) an have a question. There is a small hole in the black knob at the top. The last couple of time I've used the valve there seems to be a lot...
I'm dry fitting all the pieces before I install my shower. I'm finding that if I go straight up from the shower valve and attach a drop ear elbow, the threads will be about 2 1/2 inches inside the...
It's not that I want to, I just thought that since I have the room torn up it might be preventative maintenance.
Well can't find anything on the valve instructions about them being required, but I think since I have the chance I'll install a couple of these:

I'm about to install a new shower valve in remodel. I was looking at a plumbing book from the library and they were installing arrestors on the vertical supply lines on either side of the valve. Is...
Well since I've got the wall torn out to work on an adjacent bathroom I might just add an arrester to the toilet line.
Thanks.
As soon as I flush my toilet a get slight knocking sound in the pipes by the shower as soon as I flush. It's not a lot, maybe 6 or 7 knocks and not loud ones. The weird thing is that it only happens...
I figure you want dimensions of the shower/drain/vent area?
Here's another drawing, if you need any other dimensions, please let me know.
And thanks a lot for looking this over!...
Wet venting is permitted. But if I'm reading the code correctly, it says:
•Each trap and trapped fixture is permitted to be provided with an individual vent. The individual vent shall connect to...
The existing shower is staying in place.
So am I reading this right that you're saying if I tie into the sink drain (orange) that I don't need a separate vent (blue in the other drawing) for the new...
There is only one NEW shower, the other one shown is an existing one. I changed the drawing, the right vent would be angled, and not completely horizontal.
Would it even be possible to drain to the...
Sorry if my drawing is off. Basically on the right (in blue) I would vent after the trap then tie into the existing vent (red). The red vent is 2" currently.
OK, See if this works. Once again my questions are which possible vent (in blue) works better than the other and if it would be possible to drain to the existing drain (orange dotted line) and...
It's a view from above if that helps.
I'm doing a remodel on my bathroom and adding a shower where a bath once was. I'm trying to figure out the best way to vent this. In this drawing I show 3 options....
