Can anyone recommend good brands/models of AAVs? Any brands/models to avoid?

I forgot to ask. I've read that there are cheap AAVs to avoid. What would be some brands/models that have a good track record?
Hi Terry,
Jim responded the fastest and has more posts than you. Clearly he must be at a higher level. :p
Ok, thanks!
Because Jim said "You don't really want to keep it into the toilet fitting, but I don't think it really matters which other choice you make once you've got the sink vented." after I asked "If I go...
I was looking at the stack pipe and have another idea. What if I leave the CI sanitee the way it is and use it only for the toilet and install a tee in the kitchen sink copper pipe you see in the...
If I go with an AAV in the cabinet, does it make any difference whether I put a wye at the main stack or after the toilet elbow? Thanks.
The original plumbing was an s trap going through the floor connecting to the copper you see in the picture which is connected to the PVC. Doesn't this definitively mean the sink is not vented? In...
Thanks I will try this test. Do I basically open the trap and see if its not full of water after draining the full sink?
Ok thank you.
Gotcha. One question... you said you would not remove the santee. Are you saying this because your earlier suggestion to add the wye after the elbow is ok? Thanks.
Ok so the plan is replace the current cast iron sanitary tee with a cast iron sanitary tee with a side inlet for the sink. I would use fernco "drums" to make the connection between the cast iron...
Would you put a cast iron wye or a pvc wye in between the cast iron thats there right now?
If I remove the sanitary tee will the top of the stack fall down or are they usually secured? I'm not clear on how I would remove the tee without having to push the stack up to give sufficient...
The flange I have is designed to have the knockout plug removed after the flange is installed. The farthest I can probably get this pipe up is to the tabs right under where the knockout plug is. Is...
Thanks Jim! Does anyone else have any thoughts on my situation?
Is it considered a repair to replace a pipe/toilet flange in the same configuration it was originally?
So you're saying if you touch your plumbing in an older house you'd have to radically redesign it to make it follow current code? If I am understanding you correctly I'd have to run a separate vent...
Here are some pictures of underneath. Please let me know how you would pipe it. I don't mind redoing it. I always try to follow codes and do things the right way. Thank you.

The inlet into the closet bend is coming from the bathroom sink. The toilet is closest to the main stack. The sink is further away. The toilet is less than 2' from the 4" stack pipe which of course...
I am not sure what you mean about not being able to dry fit with the flange that I have. I was able to push the pipe into the flange and remove it. There are a few tabs that seem to stop the pipe...
Hello all,
I am installing a toilet flange on top of a new tile floor in a half bathroom. Due to the way the joists are laid out under this bathroom I had to do a 10" rough in for the toilet. Its...
Also I forgot to post this picture earlier:

Thanks. I will definitely look for the EF-21-325. Are these pressure assist models really loud? Are some louder than others?
I can definitely try that but I was trying to reduce the water usage. This thing looks like it uses 3.5 GPF and it gets used often.
