Had same problem some years back. With only two people, the septic system didn't generate much heat. Resolved by insulataing the vent pipe in the attic with 4" fibreglass. Good luck.
Cheers

That ain't gonna do you any good. The reason you can't dry-fit is because the socket is tapered down to an interference fit. My 2c.

For what it’s worth, I’ve found that the most important part of a plumbing post is to tell prospective respondents where you are. Then, look at the respondent’s location (if given). There...
Sad but not surprising. The poor homeowner is getting ripped off every day. This one had the benefit of your knowledge. But how many don't even know they've been had?

Thank you for your reply, David.
David,
Am I reading this right? Code aside, an unvented vertical 18" long (flange-to-wye) basement toilet branch would not be a problem in real life?
Thanks.
A bit of reading, but this should help.

I swear: I know nothing... But thanks for the vote of confidence. I don't think I deserve it, though.
I'll have to think more about that. Thank you.
I'm with you 100%. Alas, around here,...
Lots of good advice. Thanks. I'm starting to get the feeling that I have four possible ways to go:
1. Build to code and end up with function problems;
E.g., The bath Double may be (here) DBL TY*,...
Thank you all.
markts30: Pls see Rev 8 (link below). Is that the idea?
hj: I do have some constraints to work around. One, is that the under-slab plumbing is, well, under the slab. So, I want...
Is this better?

Thank you.
I admit, you lost me (not unusual). Pls elaborate... Thanks
Hello all. Looking for critiques of the attached schematic. Will it work? Is is to code (Ontario)? Detail, such as pipe sizes and fittings are omitted for clarity. I'm not allowed to change...
