what kind of valve

In storage water tank, what kind of valve we can use to shut-off water in-let when tank is full? ( maybe dead rock valave??)

Several possible answers depending on several different situations of which you have not apprised us. Simplest but perhaps not the best would be a float-operated valve similar in operation to a toilet tank fill valve.

I prefer an electric solenoid valve like a sprinkler valve, with a float switch.
