I am interested in getting a bidet seat for the toilet in my master bath (Toto Drake). How do these things hold up over time? Any recommendations on brand/model/features?

Thanks in advance.

Jim,
I sell a lot of the Bio-bidet 600.

It has a heated seat
heated water wash
and warm air dry for $398.00
You can also check out the other here.
They hold up very well. Once you have one, it's hard to go back.

Thanks Terry.

My contractor wants to know if there is anything he needs to know regarding the installation of this seat. Right now, we are just toying with the idea (as the cost of our renovation is steadily climbing), so the actual purchase/installation of said unit may come well after they finish construction. Obviously, there needs to be an electrical outlet nearby. What about the plumbing requirements - would it pay to set that up now so I can just plub into the supply line down the road?

Thanks for the help.

Bidet seats will use the same cold water supply that the toilet uses.
Each seat comes with a tee connector that connects to the fill valve.
Reconnect the water supply from the wall and your're done.

The only thinking is what side the electrical outlet will be on.
Make sure that it's not blocked by the toilet.
Most seats come with a three foot cord.
