Welcome to the new board. Hopefully we will have this thing going well with people posting like before.

One cool thing I like is the use of "avatars", these are small pictures that are 80 pixels by 80 pixels or less that can be uploaded to the server or loaded from your own site that is either "you" or something that "represents" what you are about.

It's now easier than ever to add links and pictures to your postings.

I'm hoping that the regulars will either load up a picture for their avatar or will send me one so I can load it for them.

Hey Terry,

Glad the board is back in action!

Thanks Spaceman Spiff and e-plumber,
It feels a bit slow, but it does look better.
I love the copy and paste feature.

To add an avatar, go to "User CP" on the upper left of the main page,
Then to "Edit Avatar"

You can choose what is there or
you can email me one and I will post it for you.

Downloading Avatar

It wasn't very intuitive (to me anyway) on how to download your own avatar.
Can you explain it easily?
By the way the toilet review and especially the link to the toilet study was great. I was going to buy an American Standard Cadet EL but the study shows it's flush efficiency is below the standard. Will probably go w/ the Toto Drake.

JD,
The Drake is a good choice.

You can choose what is there or
you can email me one and I will post it for you.

Congratulations!

Hi Terry, Hi All,

Glad to see you back online. Judging from the popularity of your old board, this one's bound to be a fabulous success. We'll be sending people here often. Plumbing with class, that's what I call it. :)

Tile Site

John Bridges sponsors the top ceramic tile forum in the country. I encourage plumbers to participate in his site as we have many issues in common.

Glad to have a Tile Man around

Tile man, we get a lot of questions on these forums regarding tile work (shower floors, tub walls, etc,) . I look forward to your input on these.
