Im looking for a water softener for my home. I have a family of four. Below are stats from the water district that services us. Looking for recommendations.
Should I look and buy online or can anyone refer a good local Los Angeles dealer?

Thanks!

Alkalinity as CaCO3 (ppm) 210
Calcium (ppm) 77
Magnesium (ppm) 18
Potassium (ppm) ND
pH 7.8
Radon (pCi/L) 271
Sodium (ppm) 50
Total Hardness as CaCO3 (ppm) 246
Total Hardness as Grains Per Gallon (gpg) 14.5

pm sent.

A simple stacked system with GAC for radon removal (very low levels) and the softener for the hardness should do just fine for you. Be sure to change the GAC bed annually. stacked.jpg

I assume this system would remove chlorine as well? GAC=? Any suggestions on where to buy a stacked system like this online?

EDIT: GAC=Granular Activated Carbon :)
